My name is Shanon and I am the the heart behind your photos.

Ever since I was a little girl, I loved getting photos done and capturing those special moments in a little girls life. I lost a lot of those memories during the floods of 93 in West Des Moines, Iowa. Losing those memories is what drove me to become a professional photographer, and help capture other peoples special occasions in life. So I took the leap and got my 1st DSLR camera and started shooting. Through the years and lots of coffee, I have finally started to offer my  photography services. I offer services from portrait photography to studio photography with The Studio at One Source Event in Des Moines, Iowa. I do all types of different styles from classic photos to your more urban styles in the Des Moines and surrounding areas. 

• Duchene Photography provides services for dance photography, seniors, lifestyle/family, child and maternity photography.

• Duchene Photography Dance models. This is a yearly competition, where I pick 5-10 models from different dance studios in Iowa. We do dance photo shoots at events all around the state. Some locations have been Des Moines Farmers Market, Iowa State Fair, and different State parks and locations. Its has been a fun and energetic experience for both the models and me.
